About Qiandongnan
Situated on the southeastern edge of Yungui Plateau, Qiandongnan Miao & Dong Autonomous Prefecture is close to Hunan province to the east, connecting Guangxi to the south and adjacent to Qiannan and Tongren. There are 33 nationalities including Miao, Dong, Han, Buyei, Yao, Tujia, Zhuang, Sui, ect. It has a total population of 4,417,200.
This place features magnificent mountains, elegant streams, warm weather, abundant resources and deep folk customs. It has been named by the United Nations as “a famous resort to return to nature” and is known as “the last ballad of the human kind and the homeland for the exhausted souls”.
