The Sound of Nature
Khoomei, or throat singing, is a traditional vocal art of the Mongolian people. A vocalist can produce two or even more pitches simultaneously. Chor Daguu is a king of chorus of Mongolian singers. Both singing styles are mysterious and thrilling. Singers and dancers from Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and Beijing have been promoting their traditional ethnic art through various kinds of performances. They are pursuing the origins of this miraculous Mongolian vocal art, and they represent the way modern people cherish traditional culture and the determination to innovate.
