Inheritance of Chinese Cultural Legacies
On the Loess Plateau in the center of China’s Gansu Province, there is a special family. In this family, the elders, adept with both pen and the sword, practice medicine to cure people while the descendants abide by filial duties and assiduously carry forward the martial arts tradition.
During the Spring Festival –the most important festival for the Chinese people – all family members, both old and young, gather together in the village where their ancestors took root, and pass down the essentials of traditional Chinese culture and ethicsin their own distinctive way.
